Depart Davenport and travel via Galesburg, IL to our overnight in the Cincinatti, OH area. Welcome Dinner is included tonight. (D)

Day 2: Friday, July 2, 2010

Travel through Ohio to Lexington, Virginia for your overnight (B/D)

Day 3: Saturday, July 3, 2010

12:00 am Arrive Williamsburg for your two nights lodging at the CROWNE PLAZA at Fort Magruder. Tour Jamestown Settlement and visit Powhatan Village. The traditional Colonial tavern dinner is planned this evening. (B/D)

Day 4: Sunday, July 4, 2010

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR NATION!
Celebrate the 4th of July in Williamsburg including the reading of the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE plus view the spectacular 4th of July fireworks. (B/D)

Day 5: Monday, July 5, 2010

Depart Williamsburg and travel to Washington DC with a stop at George Washington's Mount Vernon. A guided tour of Washington DC including the new Capitol Visitor Center with a tour of the US Capitol Building is planned as well as visiting the Vietnam, Korean War,FDR and the National WWII Museum. Overnight for three nights at the Holiday Inn National Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. (B)

Day 6: Tuesday, July 6, 2010

Spend time this morning at the Arlington National Cemetery including The John F Kennedy Memorial and witnessing changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This afternoon we will spend time at the Smithsonian including American Indian Museum and Air & Space Museum (B)

Day 7: Wednesday, July 7, 2010

Visit the Newseum, Washington's museum of news! This afternoon time is spent to explore on your own. Included Dinner is planned followed by a Monuments Illumination tour including the Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington and Iwo Jima Memorials. (D)

Day 8: Thursday, July 8, 2010

We begin our journey back to the Midwest today as we travel to Columbus, OH for our overnight. (D)

Day 9: Friday, July 9, 2010

Traveling back home, we arrive in the evening with wonderful memories of our journey. (B)

This tour is by motorcoach. If the passenger elects to travel on their own via airline, the customer is responsible for their own transfers to and from the dock and airport. There is no price reduction for using alternative transportation.
