Day 2: Wednesday, August 24, 2011

9:00 am (approx time)Enjoy Hot Breakfast at the Hampton before boarding coach for French Lick, Indiana-lunch on own
12:00 pm Arrive in French Lick and check into the FRENCH LICK SPRINGS HOTEL 8670 West State Road 56 in French Lick IN 812.836.9300
1:00 pm 12:30PM -ARRIVE AT SCENIC RAILWAY
Taking a leisurely train Ride on the French Lick SCENIC RAILWAY through a 2200' long tunnel with narration.(On the property of French Lick Springs Hotel)
3:00 pm WALKING TOUR of WEST BADEN SPRINGS HOTEL. In its day, it was one of the 'Eighth Wonders of the World'! Formal gardens, brilliant architecture-a National Historic Landmark, one-hour guided tour.
5:00 pm WINE TASTING at the French Lick Winery-award winning wines are produced on site.
Dinner is included at the FRENCH LICK SPRINGS HOTEL.

Day 3: Thursday, August 25, 2011

8:00 am (approx. time) Have your Breakfast at the French Lick Resort.
11:00 am SCENIC BOAT CRUISE ON PATOKA LAKE. 27000 acreas of lush forests and wildlife. Lunch includes, Country Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, 7-layer salad, corn on the cob, and peach crisp, all while relaxing on board a 60' tour boat with indoor as well as open air upper deck viewing areas.
2:30 pm Arrive at AMISH TOUR & MEAL. A step-on-guided tour through Southern Indiana's back country where you will experience the customs and lifestyle of the local Amish people; finish your Amish experience with a home cooked meat at GASTHOF VILLAGE RESTAURANT & BAKERY. Afterwards, return to the French Lick Resort for an evening on your own. You will find Golfing , Shops, Casino, a Spa-all that time will allow you!
3:00 pm Tour begins...
(Stores are open until 7pm during the week.)
5:00 pm Tour ends - browse and shop
6:30 pm Meal at Gasthof Village Restaurant & Bakery
7:30 pm Leaving Restaurant
when finished here return to hotel. Evening on own

Day 4: Friday, August 26, 2011

8:00 am Another wonderful breakfast at the French Lick Resort and check out.
9:00 am Depart French Lick
11:30 am One hour lunch break in Danville, on own
3:45 pm Half hour break in Galesburg
5:15 pm Return Moline
5:45 pm Return Davenport

We have assigned seating. Seating chart is arranged in order of first payment date. We start at the front of the bus and work toward the back. If you would like to sit in the front you must make your deposit early. Please let us know if you would like to be seated with anyone else going on the tour.
