Day 1: Sunday, October 3, 2010

5:00 am Leaving Westland Mall, West Burlington, IA. JC Penney's south side parking lot across from AmericInn
5:15 am Leaving Mediapolis - 61 Chop House Restaurant
5:45 am Leaving Wapello - Jack N Jill restaurant
6:15 am Leaving Muscatine - Holiday Inn
7:00 am Leaving Moline-South Park Mall OFFICE MAX parking lot
7:30 am Leaving Davenport-Clarion Hotel 5202 N Brady Road - NE corner on Brady side
9:00 am Half hour break at truck stop in Rochelle-on own
12:00 pm One hour lunch break in Waupan, WI-on own
3:00 pm Arrive at NEWPORT RESORT in Egg Harbor, WI. Check in and prepare to leave for Liberty Square; take a blanket for the theater and dress warm.
4:00 pm LIBERTY SQUARE shopping, browsing, biking, relaxing. Then we will have dinner at BISTRO BAR & GRILL.
6:00 pm PENINSULA PLAYERS-a theatre in a garden-presents 'PANIC'
We will arrive early to enjoy their leisurely setting and enjoy a beverage in the beer garden, if you so desire.
"PANIC" is a scintillating thriller by Joseph Goodrich. "The City of Lights turns dark and deadly when Henry Lockwood is accused of a sinister crime. He and his wife are embroiled in blackmail, betrayal and murder. Will his career and marriage................"
7:00 pm Play "PANIC" begins.
Please note: the audience is covered from the elements by a permanent roof. The sides may be closed down to completely protect the audience from bad weather. The theatre has radiant floor heating, but we are still advised to be prepared for the chill in the air as it is cooler by the bay.
9:00 pm Return to hotel after play

Day 2: Monday, October 4, 2010

9:15 am Arrive DOOR COUNTY TROLLEY & TOUR. Wine tasting, tour lighthouse and MORE!!! Our group will be picked up and dropped off at our Resort.
12:00 pm Lunch included on the waterfront at TOP DECK RESTAURANT in Baileys Harbor (approximate time)
3:45 pm Arriving back to the Resort to freshen up for Dinner.
5:00 pm The Famous Fish Boil at The OLD POST OFFICE RESTAURANT. Another wonderful setting...
6:30 pm Return to resort and evening on own. (A list of suggestions will be provided to those interested in what there is to do.)

Day 3: Tuesday, October 5, 2010

7:00 am Approximate time-enjoy breakfast at hotel
9:45 am Arrive at Northport Pier-
**10 AM Ferry Departure
10:30 am Arrival on Washington Island:Cherry Train Tour - 2 hr. tour with four stops enroute: Ostrich Farm; School House Beach; Island Farm Museum; Stavkirke (Norwegian-style chapel in woods).
1:00 pm Lunch provided at SHIP'S WHEEL restaurant: waterfront dining
2:00 pm Ferry Departs Island
2:35 pm Arrive at Mainland
3:00 pm Go to resort to freshen up.
5:30 pm Dinner at Casey's BBQ - Smokehouse Buffet
6:30 pm OPTION: THEATER OR FISHING!!!!
Leave for Theater in Fish Creek OR Fishing Excursion with First Choice Charters from 6:30pm-11:30-pm
7:00 pm Arrive at AMERICAN FOLKLORE THEATER for a 90 minute show
7:30 pm Show time "GUYS AND DOES"
9:00 pm Return to resort after show.

7:00 am Early Checkout-approximate time
8:00 am Breakfast at AL JOHNSON'S SWEDISH RESTAURANT. Enjoy their famous Swedish pancakes with lingonberries... don't miss the GOATS GRAZING on the restaurant's sod roof.
10:30 am 2-hour tour FIRE BOAT CRUISE SHIP on a retired Chicago Fireboat in Sturgeon Bay
12:30 pm Receive Boxed Lunch prior to loading coach.
12:45 pm Leaving Sturgeon Bay
3:45 pm Arrive in Madison, WI area-stop for half-hour break
6:15 pm 1 hour dinner stop at truck stop in Rochelle-on own
8:45 pm Arrive Davenport
9:15 pm Arrive Moline
10:00 pm Arrive Muscatine
10:30 pm Arrive Wapello
10:45 pm Arrive Mediapolis

  • FALL WALLEYE FISHING-per Captain Todd:
    "By mid September we will again move one of the 30' boats over to the Green Bay side as the fall Walleye fishing really heats up. Night trips have been exceptionally productive and limits of very large Walleyes are not uncommon. The Walleye fishing will run through October and into early November...fishing Baileys Harbor and surrounding waters is a truly unforgettable experience."
    "Caught Fish will be processed by the fish market on Baileys Harbor at $5.00 per fish, in a flash frozen vacuum packed bag."

Due to circumstances beyond the control of Trailways Tours, itineraries may change without notice.

If you have an e-mail address please provide it to us for future updates.

We will not be sending the tickets to you. You will receive them on the bus.

Departure and arrival times are at the discretion of the driver and the escort.

All payments not received 1 month prior to leaving date must be cash, certified check or credit card.

We have assigned seating. Seating chart is arranged in order of first payment date. We start at the front of the bus and work toward the back. If you would like to sit in the front you must make your deposit early. Please let us know if you would like to be seated with anyone else going on the tour.

NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED

To cover pre-existing medical conditions, Deluxe Insurance must be purchased within 7 days of first deposit. Please let us know immediately if you do not want this insurance. Insurance can not be purchased after final payment.
